Phone dials wheels pics needed!!

Hye
i m a new french member!
so hello everybody...
i m looking for phone dials wheels for my beetle..
i m trying to find some pics of beetle with these wheels, so if you have some pics, it will help me to decide to buy these wheels!!
and wich size do you yhink will be the best 15 or 16"?

Keith Seume mentions "phone dials" specifically in the German Look chapter of his Custom Volkswagen book and there are pictures of them as well. My computer at home is down for a couple of days. I will try to remember to scan some pics in a few days if there are no responses. (A search revealed many threads but no pics that I could find.)

The size depends on your stance.

If you want to go low stick with the 15s with a 45-50 profile.

Maybe a 15x6 front with 16x7 rear.

No idea, I emailed the owner but he bought the car that way.

Mine has 15x7 et52.5 all the way around

nice what all you have to do to put them on besides the bolt pattern change?I thought since they had the high offset they wouldnt have the deepdish look to them.hmm do the high offsets fit better than the low offset ones?

Mine is farfrumstock

61 body, 69 irs pan, 4 wheel 85' 944 disc brakes, rear end 85' 944.
15x7et 52.5 wheels, 185/55-15 front 2" narrowed BJ beam 1" spacers,
rear end 85' 944, 225/65-15 rear tires under 1.1/4"widened fenders.
No rubbage anywhere.....

Does anyone know what size (originally) the ones that "64bug" is using? I am trying to research these wheels and I know that there are different styles. The ones pictured have much more of a "flat" face and not as much of a lip. I would like to know what the width and offset are. I know there were about 10 different width/diameter/offset combinations available. Thanks.
