Just a few little parts...

Anyone have a set of the little cast aluminum (?) blocks that a '70 rear seat back locks into. I carefully painted mine, packaged them up and put them away for safe keeping, promptly forgeting where. Also I'm looking for a steering box from a standard, doesn't really matter about year... it's for a friend's home-built boat project (hey doesn't every project have to have some VW parts in it? )
Thanks,
Dave

Hey Rob, they are located just above the rear wheel hump, screwed into a little floating nut-plate, below the rear side window, about even with where the backrest of the back seat would meet the "wall" of the car.
Uh....
Ok, if you weren't confused before... sorry I'm still sort of waking up.
Hope this helps,
Thanks a lot,
Dave

Ok, I'll see if I can find them.
