its been a while since i've last posted in my thread.nothing major.remember this?

i didn't really like my gauges.i think those didn't match with the theme of my bug.i wanteed something more vintage.so i took off the ext.temp and a/f gauge and replace them with two original vw vdo gauges out of a golf 1 gti.an oil temp and an oil press gauge and since the big auto meter didn't match i decided to give it a vintage look.I took it all apart and and took off the three little gauges inside the big one.painted all black and put white numbers on so it mathes the vdo look.i let the pictures do the talking.

the stickers are from model airplanes and i had a copy of the original board to put the white numbers on the same spot where the black was,and to be sure i also made a clear film to put on the black one just to be sure.
