Need to paint my DTM and trim...

I'm trying to decide on what color to paint my DTM and engine tin on my '69 Beetle. The car is going to be Dove Blue (body, bumpers, handles, etc.) with grey interior. Wheels are Porsche Fuchs; polished lip and charcoal grey centers. I can't decide on painting the DTM and engine tin the same color as the body or a contrasting color such as a medium grey or red. Help me decide...

I think the grey would be a nice contrast. Would go with the wheels as well.

When I did mine, I tried to limit the entire car to 2 or 3 colors. Any more than that and it seems gaudy. So I stuck with black to match the wheels and the trim. Just my opinion anyway.

The fan backing plate will be the same color as the rest of the tin for now. Maybe one of Joe's CF ones in the future...

Puuurty!!! I decided on Dove Grey (L249) for the shroud and engine tin. It should be a good contrast to the Dove Blue paint.

use the same color as the rim centers. pulls the theme around the back.

Way to go Zen. Now you've got me doubting my decision again. Hmmm...

Okay, okay. I'll paint it the same color as the wheels. I think it will compliment the brushed aluminum and CF parts more...
