996 calipers Vs 944 turbo brembos. Whats the difference?
Ive got 944 turbo 4 pot brembos fitted to a pair of CB dropped spindles. At the rear I'm using 1303 A-arms with the seperate aluminium calliper mounts. 944 turbo vented discs are being used also.
How do 996 C4 calipers differ from the above, would I be able to just bolt them up?

944 Turbo calipers are axial mount where as the 996 ones are radial mount so you can not bolt them on. You have to fab some brackets or buy some. The 996 calipers is a monoblock caliper where as the 944/993 are a two piece caliper.
Hope that helps, Alex |
