Best way to run a speedo cable w/Porsche brakes

In looking at my spindle / brake / hub setup. I can barely fit the center cap of the wheel on which means a dust cap that will allow me to run the stock speedo cable is a pipe-dream.

Is this a case of narrow the beam then run spacers to get my track back but will allow me to put the dust caps on to get a speedo that works?

AAAAARRGGGHH!

I had to dent the end of my bearing cap in to get the speedo cable to fit. Also had to sand the tip of the cable off a bit. There should be room to do both.

I cut a ring section of the cap out and welded it back together, no problems and plenty of clearance internally to the nut to do this..
