Is ball joint really better handling
I am tossing up suspension and braking ideas and was wondering whether ball joint front suspension really provides a handling improvement over king and link pin. If the difference is noticable then I'm more than willing to perform a framehead swap in an effort for improved handling.

I'm no expert, but I'm going to say its not worth it. They are both trailing arm, the shortcoming of the design. The balls just don't wear as much I believe. I suspect you may even have an advantage with link pin in that you can increase camber over the ball joint's eccentric abilities.

actually both will perform just as well on the street. Ball may be a little better in the bumps.
Link pins do however require more maintance, greasing and all. Not really worth it. |

may be think about a pan swap. IRS and ball joints in one. depends on what you want to do.
