Ask Oliver from PowerTuningParts in his forum if you can not get it in the US.

I am sure it could be shipped.

Here are some infos:

Kerscher sells them for 261 Euros.
Hoffmann sells them for 158 Euros.

The prices include the German 16% tax so you can deduct that.
My guess that there is a difference in the quality of the dash. I have not seen them but from what I heard is that Kerscher's quality is top.

If they ship ask about Economy shipping. It still crosses the big pond via plane.

Shipping should not be more than 100$. Do not forget that the item is fairly large.

Kerscher:

Select Armaturenbrett......et voila!

Hoffmann:

If you call them or email them mention that you heard about their product on www.germanlook.com .
Let them know that we exist!!!!!

The key to cheap shipping to the USA from Germany is to know a US military member stationed there. Have this person have the item sent to them on base and then they can mail it from the military post office and the rate is only charged from NYC to it's destination is the USA. Not only are you just charged the domestic postal rate there are rarely any customs charges. Yup, I was a military postal clerk

The other thing is I have a few pictures, taken in Europe back in 1996 of the 911 style dash in the 1303. I can email them to Alex for the site if desired.

Okay let me dig out my dusty box of 3 1/2" floppy disks and look through them. I'll email them so you can upload them in the gallery for all to see.

I just got 2 early Rabbit (Golf 1) bumpers shipped from Germany. 45 Euro. I thought it would be more.

True Steve,
I guess it just depends on what look you are going for... Mine is going to be close to the bare bones look only in carbon fiber... I may have a custom dash made.
