944 na vs 944t (1986) rear brakes

Hi.

Is the only difference between the rear 944 NA brakes and the 944T (1986) rear brakes the thickness of the rotor (20mm vs 24 mm), and of course also wider caliper?

Or is the 944T (1986) a 4 pot caliper?

I have not found this out yet.

Espen

Cheers Espen

There is a wealth of information on this forum for brakes, it would be worth your while having a browse through the old posts or use the search function, pretty much all questions have been asked/answered before

Are the NA and Late T rear hubs the same? Are all the rear hubs for all years the same?

I thought all the rear hubs were the same. I've had a 944 NA set and a set of '86 944T. I didn't have them together, but they don't look any differant.

I checked Vdubengineering's site, and I didn't find anything about it. A wealth of info there too.

You have at least three different hubs. One for 924 and 944 up to 85.5, one for 85.5 to 86, and a third for 87 and up (also for 968).
