Trailing arms

High All,

Can someone tell me which of the Porsche trailing arms that can be used on the beetle without the wided track at the rear.

Bad bug,

If you are looking for Aluminum Arms, then none. All increase the track width to some degree.

I have read some discussions in this forum on the Porsche Steel Arms, which someone said were internally braced more than the stock Beetle arms, but I have no experience on this item.

I can tell you that the early Aluminum Arms increase the track width less than the late arms.

I recommend doing a search of the suspension forum and you will no doubt find more information than you need on this subject.

Cheers,

Doug

I,m using the 944 steal arms the only difference with beetle is drive flange size axle length and an extra bearing support .you will need the 924 turbo alloy arms they will give you the same track hard to get.
