Engine build parts, Anything + Weber 40mm IDA dual carb kit

Im building a new motor, im looking for things like lifters, push rods, crank shafts, P/C sets.... anything i can get my hands on for less than retail/sale prices as im building on a tight budget.

Although, im on a hunt for some Dual 40 or 44mm Weber carbs (complete if you can) for under $460

Let me know what you have... anything you want to get rid of including exaust.

Thanks
Jonathan

My engine builder has a set of dual 40mm carbs for $400 I think. Polish aluminum manifolds included. Let me know. I'll try and find out specifics from him. Don't forget to keep an eye out on thesamba.com

Fast i might be interested if they are in good condition. I dont really care if they are polished or not so it he wants to go cheaper without polished manifolds than that would be good.
Let me know what he says...

I saw that like Wesayso from the Samba, best deal around that i have seen (Hence the why i said $460 or les

Yes down drafts are correct. I bought my dells from ebay for $140, and they are great. Theyre 36drla's and theyre LOUD! My total cost was around $250
with a manifold linkage kit. My 1641 hauls *** and I can't believe how much power it puts out. Try cb performance and ebay. My Schneider cam cost $40 and lifters/gear cost $35 from the same guy. The cam really came through too. It was beautiful. My rebuild kit cost $400 with full flow stuff. Jeg's has some good blue push lok -8an oil hose. $35 for 15feet. My 96 plate mesa cooler was $50 from some nascar dude on ebay. Heads are 40x32 stainless valve 040s ported by me from west coast core. Don't EVER use them. They sent me an 040 with cracked valve guide bosses, and a 041 that was ok. They left valve grinding and beadblasting grit on them too. Great for bearings.
My line bore was $69 by the Buggyhouse in hayward CA.

Some nice finds indeed!

So anyways, i really got my eyes set on the Dellorto 40 DRLA carbs listed on ebay for under $200 USD, they are from Italy so shiping will be around $35. I Emailed the guy about there condition and other details so we will see what he says.
There are 10 available at a buy it now price.... so MAYBE there new?

ah youre online now. Yes I bought from him he sent me a perfect pair. I checked floats and set the screws and They fired right up with the same gaskets and all. It's so worth it. Ask me any questions you need to about this setup. It took 6 weeks to get here but was a nice surprise.
