My neighbor came over yesterday (he owns a 65 Beetle) and he found my headlight problem.
It was the relay that plugs into the fusebox for the headlights. He bipassed it with a jump wire and we finally got power to the headlights. Now all I got to do is buy a new relay. In addition to that I also mounted my strut bar & finished wiring my battery up front so that it looks like a factory installation. Here is what I have left to do before Bug Jam: Finish installing rear pop outs Wire up headlights Install wipers Gauges & dash Door panels Carpet Kit Door latches A few small misc things

Sounds like you are going to make it. I've got a couple things to do to my car this weekend(oil leak, change the fan and get new front tires on). I was giong to replace my tach. with a large VDO I have, but I think I will wait untill winter and do a 914 gauge cluster.
