Could Email notification of replies to posts default be set to unchecked?

Could Email notification of replies to posts be set to default to unchecked? I sometimes forget this and will receive the emails. I would rather just check at my convenience.

Yes...

Control Panel > Edit Options > Use 'Email Notification' by default? > No

This will, by default, turn it off and none of your replies nor posts will have the notification but you will still be able to check this box in the options of your post or reply at your individual discretion.
