New baby, I think?

Well, I just got a free motor from work because nobody is buyin, and they were tired of lookin at it. I'm pretty sure it's a Type IV and from a bus. Not sure about the size whether 1.7 or what. It had a fuel injection setup. Here are some pics.

Now for questions, In the third pic what is the wire comin from the head for.
Also in the 4th pic what is with the tube comin out by the intake. Also will a type 1 tranny bolt to a Type IV.

Also on the top of the block the code EA006022 was stamped and on the side, not with the oil filter was code 004.101.102A. If anybody has any information or tips for buildup, greatly appreciate.

Looks like a 72-74 411/412 or 72-73 914 1.7L engine.
Good find. And the price is right.

Wire from head, is head temp sender. The tubes are breather tubes. Get rid of that heavy flywheel and get a lightened 200 mm Type 1 style that has been modified for type 4 crank bolt pattern.
