Solex 34 ICT

Hi everyone, I have a problem. I have been helping a friend rebuild is type one engine. it's a type one 1835, he does not have the money for the exhaust or dual carburation now. It has a Engle 110 cam and ported stock head 40X35.5. My problem is, I can't get the ICT 34 to maintan an idle. Is there a way to re-jet this single mounted stock carb? This car should run, even with 34 ICT carb. Your imput please, anyone know a jeting that I can enlarge to?

yes they can be re-jetted. The jets are inside the bowls. Are the throttle shaft bushings worn. Most of the ICT's that have been run for a long time will have worn shaft bushings and suck air making it hard to gat a good idle.
