They are very cheap for Oil coolers (in fact cheaper than Thinkautomotive who actually make them and sell them to rallydesign)

No, the ones I used are only righthand, 1,5mm threaded.
I`m not into "preloading" the rear brace. I think that its best to fix the brace when your car sits level, and not to add stress when assembling it.
