How wide a wing? (late 944T Arms)
Okay,
So late (1990) aluminium arms on a 1303 with Turbo brakes and 8" wide 17" diameter wheels with a low offset of ET30 - How wide will I need the rear wings to be? |

here is a shot of mine with late arms, 951 brakes (doesn't really matter), 17x8.5ET48, 3" CCC fenders. car is still in the air but i can't find a pic readily of it on the ground. it sits just inside the lip though.

I'm wodering if I'd get away with a 2" oversize wing?
I want to change my wheels at a later date to the porsche cross spoke. I saw a picture of them here or shoptalk, the guy had painted them the smae colour as his car (the one with custom fibrelass sloping lights - anyone have the link?) |

Hello,
I run the wide turbo alu arms as well and have 8x16 993 rims with ET70 and 225/50/16 tires in the back. I needed wings that were 5cm wider, but Kerscher only makes either 3cm or 7cm wider wings. Therefore I used the 7cm wider wings (inside and outside widened) and used a porsche spacer which was + 2,5cm. I hope this gives you some reference. Greetings, Walter |

So with ET30 on 8" wheels, I would need a 5cm + 4cm!!
