Jig for IRS conversion

Guys hi..
Is there a difference between a Std T1 IRS rear and a 1302/1303 IRS rear? The reason for asking is that I am making a jig for locating the mounts for IRS conversion and we do not have Std T1 IRS over here..
I read somewhere that the pan are the same back of the A pillar..
Can someone verify that?

Thanks

Jig

Hello, you are correct about the IRS v. Swing axle. There is a jig being sold in Hot VW by So Cal Import. They also sell the tab (a pre shaped metal piece) If shiping is not to much save yourself some headache and buy the jig. Next, once you weld in tab I believe that's it. So Cal Import also had a short how to in the hot VW magizine.

Yes, only one IRS type for T1/1302/1303 rear ends.
