Good info! I run the 24mm one, but as its not a stock car anymore by a long way, I would like to have had the 27mm if it only was available then..

they are some mighty sizes for a rear bar, evilc has it in a nutshell, and if i went up to those sizes, my car would only be good for a drifting event! also unless they are tubular, the weight will need another 5hp to compensate. i would go up on rear spring rate and play with tyre preasures/type firstly, then maybe a lighter front bar, i always blanche at adding even a kilo, given that were all doing this to go faster.

After reading evilC post on bar sizes, I'm beginning to have doubts about their recommended 24mm (street use)... I would personally go a tad smaller..

We had a race bug understeering badly, worse with power on, at a recent race at brands hatch, was it the diff?... a bigger rear bar?... a smaller front one even?..... none of these were the cause, i felt the front tyres after a run, brrrrr, colder than they should be, the cure transformed it and cost nothing, 7psi in the front tyres, thats all it took....
