lug torque

hEY GUYS WHAT IS THE LUG TORQUE SETTING YOU ALL ARE USING? dON'T WANT MY TIRES TO FALL OFF.

85-90 foot pounds. For aluminum lugnuts and aluminum wheels at least.

Especially when running the Porsche aluminum lugnuts be careful on how tight you are going... They will shatter if over torqued.

I think racetracks will not allow the aluminum lugs only the steal ones you get aftermarket... Granted this does not concern most of us here.

Also religiously carry YOUR torque wrench to the tire shop and remount your own tires to ensure it is done right. No air wrench touches mine on remount, ever. Of course for dismount no big deal.
