I drive that car since many year without any problems...

please can you explain the modification required to the hand brake cable?
ive got front and rear kits on order from franklins vw werks and not sure if handbrake cable is included... thanks!

The porsche has differant connecting end for the e-brake pad spreader arm(lack of a better word) then vw. 944 uses a pin/clip, vw uses a hook. Theres adapter arms that use vw cables (Lanner has them www.vdubengineering.com ), I cut mine the welded the porsche ones on the vw cable. (not the right way to do it, but it work... For now...)

Hello
I used the original e-brake cable from 1302/3. I cut off the bar between the sides, and drilled a hole. You see the result in the picture.
It has work so far.

i tried to do the same thing, but it didn't leave me with enough material. (comfortably anyway.) seems like it wouldn't last that long.

guys how did you mount the disks and calipers on the rear. i have the full setup inc rear handbrake bits from a 2003 3.2 's' boxster, and am wondering do i need to make a plate to attach onto the end of the rear axle where the bearing housing goes, around which my handbrake shoes can sit or wha....?

You need the other bits from an early 944 or 924s..
