Anyone know what's necessary to mate Type4 CVs and axles with a Type1 IRS tranny?

Does anyone know what parts or modifications are necessary to install type4 CV joins and axles and a Type1 IRS tranny? Thank you in advance.

The original Porsche 944 CV boots have a VW 411 part number so all you will need is T181 output flanges.

Hi

Are type 4 CVs the same as Kombi ones? The way to fit kombi ones is to get the correct 181 output flanges and 181 or 944 axles. If the Type CV shafts are longer than a Beetle, use your Beetle CV shafts, have centre section of the back of the CV section counter bored down a bit until the CV can slide onto the Beetle shaft enough.
