Try this link for a color wiring digram.
http://vintagebus.com/wiring/ the Oil Press, Atl, and turn ind. require power to the speedo with one wire then each ind. light get a ground from their respective sender or the flasher. |
The guy that runs that website is from Sacramento. He has a really nice bus, but he also has two bad @$$ 911's. One of the 11's is setup for racing. I used to work across the street from him, well I was heading home. Not doing anything crazy just cruising when all of a sudden i heard the pitch of the engine change. I let off on the gas then goosed it, all hell broke loose. Pulled over, opened the deck lid. Aluminum was everywhere, and a valve stem was sticking out of a intake manifold on my 1641. I very nicely done Super pulled over to see if I needed any help, and a mean 911(vintagebus.com guy) pulled over, he was rocking a VW hat. Moral of the story, if your gunna run 044 heads throw away the made in china SS valves and put in some Manley's.
PS sorry about jacking the thread |
Thanks for your help but i actually figured it out shortly after i posted this thread. i guess i was just making it more complicated than it needed to be
