Sexy bars

Just got my 3 bar set-up from Lanner yesterday.
I just happened to be powder coating stuff in the garage and they ended up looking like this:D
Very nice quality stuff:agree:

Nice colour. I got a set from lanner too. Top notch quality. They look awesome. A shame it'll be under the car.

Mr. Bully,

Looks amazing. I should be anodizing those things.....

Good work. Are the brakes on?

Hi Bullyboy, nice setup.

I noticed the KYB shocks mounted on the 944 alu arms. Did you enlarge the bushings of the shocks and used 14mm bolts?

Thanks
Tim

Hey Lanner
I just PC'ed the spindles last night with the rest of the blue stuff so I am still working on that end of things.

Tim
I drilled out the shock bushing for the stock 14mm bolt.

Those look amazing! I'm looking at a set of bars myself, and these had me stop.

Since seeing these, I've looked up both the powder coating and annodizing "kits". The results definitely speak for themselves ... at least to me!

Lanner:
Does " .... should be annodizing ...." translate to will be in the future? Or just tossing it about in the ole noggin'?

nice indeed. Lanner, i would like to drop a pic in the gallery. i will use one of these inless you have a different one you want to donate.

Lanner (flat) also makes replacement bushings. that is what i did on mine. my Koni's did seem like they would have enough meat left on the bushing for my comfort.

iamstumper: Anything is possible if the pockets are deep enough. Anodizing will cost about $C50 set (3 bar). If guys want to pay the premium, I'll do it.

Zen: I don't have any better pics, I suggest you grab the ones in this post.
