With the new shocks, I also decided to change the arms from turbo to regular n/a 944 ones for a little less track width.
Here you can see where the difference in width (1 inch or 25mm) comes from....

I would go smaller on the fenders, not bigger (=heavier) on the wheels. Seems counterproductive wrt the nice suspension...
