Partly the reason I went over to the porsche coupling, as it takes a lot of minor adjustments to get it just right. If I was to do the conversion again, I'd use the 915 shifter I think.

1303/02 channels are essentially the same but a couple if inches shorter. You could easily modify them to fit. Standard model channels have a captive nut section for the 2xm10 bolts at the front...
