The only replicas in that size i have found are cup2 or turbo type.

Finished? My cabrio

I never seen anything that was less finished!
Lots of plans, but they are always changing

68 cabrio
Kerscher brake kit vented front and solid rear.
17 or 18 (if I can find any) rims.
2 sets of day moulding wings front and rear different year so i can change how it looks from time to time
Memo imports front and rear lights for above wings
custom lights for the other set of wings, still looking these
W lid, with louvres :silly: punched in or vents if i can find some to weld in
Long bonnet
dechromed, no bumpers.
red9 front coilover type setup.
T1 engine size?? Porsche style cooling
(Hot 66 let me know how you get on with your shroud)
Colour still to be decided.

Thats enough cats of bags for now

darren

Anyone know whats going on with volkszone and total forums???
I cant ge on either?

Nope some else from VZI had it.

it was 2007 with 78.4 cast scat crank and 90.5 B+Ps

Paul said he could sort out another one and get Laurie Petit to build it.

What do you think about cast cranks? From what i've read best to steer clear of them?

cast cranks....comes down to wether your motor is designed to be a low reving torquey one, if this is the case then the cast crank will be OK. If your building a high revving screamer then I think you might be asking too much of a cast crank & worth spending that bit more for a one piece forging
