The rear is easy, as you can only use the 944 parts, but use the original mounts from the torsion bar housing, too. Cut them off and weld them in the same position to your beetle housings!
I have a mixed conversion with a 19mm sway-a-way bar on my car.

Any way you could take a picture of your setup? I have a 74 Ghia that I'm trying to fix up to the German Look, and now I'm at the suspension point. I'm fairly new to all this and want to do it right the first time! ( is there such a thing?)
