no probs!

hiya, yeah i'm using 1986 (me thinks) Audi coupe 2 litre front calipers, heard it off a guy on a UK forum. It is a BOLT ON item too ! only need for opening out mounting bolt holes in caliper carriers (M12 on type 3, M10 on Audi) and clearancing carrier for larger type 3 disc - REAL EASY!

HOWEVER.... mine is a '73 with the later calipers like on a 412. If yours is an earlier car, only need to swap out the front stubs i guess.

I did notice while in the breakers... most 80's VW's and Audis have the same dimension for the caliper bolt fitments ! Food for thought...

I have driven the car with the brakes on, however I have just complete a home brewed rear disc conversion using Mk4 golf calipers, hope it all works !:silly:
