I was running a 96-plate Mesa in between there on my '72. Motor was drysumped with 3/4 lines running to the front by way of the passenger running board. The cooler has a slight "bend" to it. Same radius as the spare tire well. Worked well for me.

I'm using the RX7 cooler up front with -8 AN lines to my drysump tank. The oil takes about 20 mins to come up to operating temp (180F) and the datalogger with a probe in the DS tank registers between 180F and 190F during a really hard drive in 35c weather.
Works for me. Sandeep |
