I think the main reason that people are not really using Boxster disks and calipers is that if you go thru the hassle of getting everything machined and getting caliper brackets done you might as well go bigger and get 993 or even 993 TT brakes.

Kerscher is selling now their vented front brakes with Boxster calipers for about 1200$ I think. You can see them on their website.

Also it would be easier to use 944 Turbo brakes...since the rear is a near bolt on for IRS and for the front it is easier to make an axial caliper bracket instead of a radial mounting bracket. This does not mean that Boxster calipers are not that good.....there design as a monoblock caliper is much nicer than the 2 piece 994/993/Turbo or TT.
