offset ?

I feel kindof dumb for asking this, but I would be dumber to not ask and never know. What part of the rim do you get the off set mesurement from? Is it from center section to the inside edge or the rim, or from center to the outside edge or am I totally lost? I'm trying to figure out what wheels I will eventually get for my 71 Super. Currently it has stock wheels with 185-65-15's on all 4 corners and the front has almost no clearance from the strut springs. I plan to change struts at some point too, but figuring out this wheel situation will help me decide between MAXX struts or adjust-a-struts with the tapered springs. Any way, I'm rambling so I'll stop now. Thanks for the help. Randy

Thanks for the info. That was very helpful. I should be able to figure out what I need to know as soon as I take the time to read that completely and follow the directions. Thanks again, Randy
