Hummbug ran first with a single 32/36 Weber DGAV, then dual Dellorto 36 DHLA's then with dual 40 DHLA's using a stock crank. Number 2 main journal was pretty ugly after only 38k
miles, and all the bearings, including the rod bearings had most of the babbet wiped away. I didn't have the guts to turn it over 5000 RPM. The 36's were WAY too small, and always ran lean, but Hummbug's got an 1835 with a bit larger cam. Yours should run good on dual 36 IDF's being a 1600. Just don't go past 5000 revs, and don't expect over 50K miles before a rebuild. Yetibone
