Hi vwdave, I see this is one of your first posts here so let me say welcome.

If you look around this forum you may notice that I answer a lot of these types of questions but I wanted to let you know that I can't here.

Just so every one will know my research is soley based on the 924/931/944/951/952/968 because they share the same suspension as the 113 (Super Beetle 1303).

I haven't really looked into the other chassis/brakes much so I can't answer here. My point is that I wish I could help but can't and wanted to let you know so you didn't wonder why I didn't answer.

I beleive the base 996 uses 318x28mm front rotors and 299x24mm rears. Not sure on the piston sizes for the calipers though.

yep, 318mm x 28mm seems familiar, now that i think about it. I wasn't sure whether the rotor was 28mm or 32 mm thick.

Thanks Sandeep, and thanks for trying Superman; at least I'll know that if you had have known the info then you would have been kind enough to share it with a fellow germanlooker, even if mine is a standard not a super!!

By the way guys, I just found out that the piston sizes are the same as 944 S2 Calipers, 36mm and 40mm.

Later
