Some day I will have jaw dropping brakes, but for now I will be happy with my non turbo brakes. Besides my whole 944 suspension set up including front brakes and rear brakes and rear trailing arms it will only cost me $700.

Some day I will upgrade to a set of 993 or 996 rotors and calipers.

i voted black because it looks clean and not to flashy. i painted my Audi 4000 calipers red and it looks cool (car and wheels are white) but that was that one time...
For my beetle im going to do them black or silver.

Also black wont show the brake dust at much, so you wont need to clean them as much to make them look good.
