But I am also going to make my own scoops to go over the cresant vents to get MORE air to the engine... Though I'm kinda sad to say, I like the fact that other people around the US have the same basic idea for air intake John

OH yeah I forgot to mention something...
The cresant vents don't really leed to the engine bay at all. They vent to the rear window...at least on my '72 they did. Has any one else known about that? John
