Yeah...I was thinking they might be too streetrod looking too. I DID find them in a street rod site. They were made for a late 30's Ford. Read my other post. I found some cool dash stuff at dakota digital. If you look at the car show gallery section and see the convertible Porsche speedsters. THAT is the dash look I want in my 1303 only with a bit of grainy black leather capped off with one of these...(see pics).

I did catch onto the "F.ound O.n R.oad D.ead" text. The first dash looks very
retro and would be at home in a 60"s custom sports car and the second looks more modern. Although I'm not a big fan of the machined groove dash look. It's a tough choice between the two of them.

i like the ideas but not for a gl car, although its your car and do what you like. but i do think it would look sweet in a rat rod, but i do think a your taste lean more to that. build what you lke and dont let boundries keep you in. start a new style! :agree:

Some nice looking goodies there, but I have to agree that although they will look real cool on a Beetle just as long as it's not a GL
