are you using the rain trays? those are pretty deep. be interested to see how it turns out. i had thought about it, but quickly decided i didn't have the skill or the patience.

no rain trays, its a fair weather car anyway besides untill I got the decklid done I'll be running with the decklid off so no biggie.

I suppose I could always fabricate something up, was thinking of replacing the decklid with a fiberglass unit anyway so I wouldn't be cutting up a perfectly good oval decklid.

I think VW trends did a GL shoot out of some sorts..

There was a maroonish looking Beetle.. 60 something or so.. with some color matching rims..

Might want to check out that issue.. Sorry I don't remember the month and year.. maybe someone can share some light..
