Oh and the 1500 was also designated for the 1500cc displacement. That goes for the 1600, 1641, 1678, 1776, 1835, 1904, 1914, 1915, ect...
There was also the type 3 which were the Notch, Fast, and Squarebacks; the type 181 Thing, the Type 34 Razors Edge Ghia, the Type 1 Beetle, Type 2 Bus, Type 4 411/412. There are many many more, but thats all I can remember right now. Oh and the Fridolin, but Im not sure what the number for that was.

wow! There are alot of number designations huh? I guess i have a 1302, maybe ill start using that to confuse some people. Lol.
