I certainly hope Canadians don't think what Coulter, et al, have to say is somehow representative of how most Americans feel about Canada.

I think it funny that the yanks are pretending they are from Canada when they travel abroad. There is a company down south that is selling a kit with a lapel pin, patch, sticker, t shirt, and manual "how to speak Canadian Eh".

I have to say, I am a Canadian Conservative, and have been in support of the US and their president on many issues over the last 4 years, but even I'm getting tired of this crap. Why is is that they feel the need to ostrasize and ridicule anything they don't understand (which seems to be a lot)
the comment that sums it up best by a canadian commentator, "you need us more than we need you" Now don't get me wrong I like the US but I can do without the Nutjobs on both ends of the political spectrum (we have them too, but just not as many)

We can do without the nutjobs too. Unfortunately it's all we've got right now. I Think the thing to remember is most people don't dislike people from a particular country, they dislike that country's govt. I've travelled all over the world and never had a problem with someone because I'm American.

As much as I like Canada, I only pretend to be Canadian when traveling to Cuba.
