Maybe this helps:

Sleeve to use the original Porsche outer bearing (measurements in millimetres)

5. Place the sleeve on the VW-spindle. This way you can use the original Porsche bearing.
6. Preheat the Porsche hub before pressing in the sleeve (fig. 4)
7. Press in the sleeve (fig. 4). The standard VW-bearing will fit into this sleeve later.
8. Now beat the sleeve in its place using a fitting pipe or similar.
9. Place the standard VW bearing in its place.
10. Put in the seal with a fitting pipe or similar.
11. Fit the wheelstuds.

But you really need part 1 as well!

Conversion VW Beetle brakediscs to Porsche 944 brakediscs Part 1

Big picture: Porsche 944 hub
Double striped/shaded (don't know the correct term)parts will have to be machined

Photo 1:
Left: Porsche 944 hub after being machined.
Right: Original 944 Porsche hub before machining.


Small picture:
Conversion-sleeve to use the original VW bearing.

Photo 2:
Make two cut-outs into the narrow part of the sleeve before pressing the sleeve into the hub. This will enable you to remove the bearing whenever needed.

Sorry, forgot to translate that part.
Material thickness of the bracket is 10.5mm +/- 0.05mm.
