Extending the tie rods

track increase (need late 03 parts which are wider and the brakes add another 10mm per side?) Only early spindles have the speedo cable hole in them.

I think a tech article is needed!

Don't forget the 944 master cylinder is also needed (for the single pot brakes) so there is a whole lot more fluffing around fitting things up.

I thought Superman was writing a tech article ages ago...

It was going to be printed in VW Trends but they are now defunct. I'm working on getting it printed in Hot VWs magazine.

Sorry Superman...Having re-read that comment, it doesn't sound too polite.

I thought you had already written something, I'm sure I've got articles (all be it forum "thread" based) from yourself discussing all the things to be aware of when doing this conversion. I can't remember where I found them now.

Watabug, if all you want to do it fit Porsche Wheels, then sure fit adapters and wider guards, I really wanted bigger brakes, thinking back now, I'm not sure why, but they're on the car now and they work, so I'm not about to fiddle with them in a hurry.

Someone starting afresh with little experience, I would point them to vdub engineering http://www.vdubengineering.com/products/brake.htm or V-force http://www.beetleracing.com/catalog/...3e47e9a535169e.

Those that are old hands at hotroding will most likely be able to figure things out themselves.
