Choice of color

Aloha from the Big Island,
I have checked everywhere for chips of OG paint on the Island without success. So all I got for reference is the autocolorlibrary and wolfsburg site.
This is good but not the same as seeing it for reals.
So I need help. I want a blue / green two tone.
Since I have never seen these colors live, could you give me your opinion which blue and green would look best or if you think of another color blue/green feel free to tell. and even better if any has a shot of a vdub painted any of these colors could you post.

L31 Dove Blue
L289 Pale Blue
L360 Sea Blue
L519 Bahama Blue
L532 Polar Blue

L349 Jade Green
L511 Birch Green
L512 Velvet Green
L513 Sea Grean
L581 Light Green

Mahalos

Is this for a standard Beetle? ... in a conventional* two-tone of fender-to-fender-under-the-molding in one color and the remainder in another color? (* - I say conventional even though that style two-tone never really came from Volkswagen in their sedans.)

"I see," said the blind man as he picked up his hammer and saw. "Oh, no, you can't," said the man who couldn't talk.

Well, you may already know L512 (below the "waistline")/L289 (above; also called "blue white") is a combo which was offered for that year. (Reference One)

Another effective combo which was offered in 1962-63 was L380 (Turquoise)/L289 even though the former color was not on your list. (Reference Two)

I didn't find all ten colors listed. My search was confined to Wolfsburg West's list and PaintScratch.com's list. The blues and greens I did find didn't seem complimentary to each other. If I went totally off your list, I found combos I liked.

In the end, my favorite is what I called Reference One. To me, that combo being a legitimate combo for that year is a plus. I don't recall having ever seen that combo before. Reference Two and the off-the-charters were nice second choices in my mind.

Thanks Oasis for your ideas. Of the two you gave reference one would be my choice as well. All the other colors on my list came from www.autocolorlibrary.com this site has choke references to all kinds of colors. getting them made is another thing. I got the ppg codes for some and dupont nor ppg can make them in base coat / clear coat. Only single stage but single stage is a pain to work with when your booth is your garage.
If any one knows who can do these in bc/cc let me know or it is probably just the lame paint shops out here on this island who don't have the proper tints to get it right.

Any how whas up Joe, howzit on the mainland? How's Vin? I have not heard from you guys in a long time. I post poned my squareback to finish a 65 microbus. This guy came here with it from vegas hated it here dumped the van cheap, so I got it and been cleaning it up since. New everything practically. Still looking for a teaching position back in Fla. but not coming this year unless a principle has a job and just needs to do a final interview.
Hawaii is good surf good weather but crappy cost of living. Not to mention I could have built a complete other vw with the shipping cost for all the parts.
How is your vw coming. Thought I saw one of your for sale on a site sometime back.
