IIRC it was off an '84 rabbit ? It's the round pump that is mounted in line.

Sounds like the CIS pump (84 Rabbit) for the Bosch K Jetronic. Are you doing CIS Injection? If it is a Bosch CIS pump it puts out up to 125 psi. Does it have a threaded in ckeck vlv. on the elect. terminal end?

I'm using a Subaru motor

Yes, it does have a threaded check-valve on the top of the pump where the banjo fitting goes.

The CIS pump should be more than enough for that.
