I did audio installs for FORD for a summer..
The antenna was a standard R&R with the rest of the crap I took out.. But the antenna was fine.. I used it to get into my 04 Ranger when I locked my self out.. after I left the Job I installed it in my b ug.. My A-1 Sidewinder was a lil loud so i pulled the sound system.. Peace Troy

In case the original poster, or anyone else was still wanting to see the new Beetle antenna on an older one ....

There is a pretty good shot of the one on my old Supa in my members profile, I don't know how to link it. Worked better then the stock one. I'm not going to do that mod to my next Supa, though.
