Hey, what's up?

I have the rear end apart, installing a rear sway bar. The cars running well, but i'm not sure i'll make the show on Sunday. Had big problems at work, and i have to work stupid hours doubleshifting this weekend. The way it looks, I'll have a better chance of going to Florida in November, than Peterborough this weekend.

Real Bummer.

another "meet":

Heya,
I am battling a stubborn oil leak , apart from being messy, its still driveable. Where is everyone meeting? Sandeep, yes, I am coming from St. catharines, plus I have some 901 shifter questions for you.

The drive to the show was nice, but we had to keep it at 100-115 kph because of some minor issues with Bryan's motor. Just wanted to be safe.

The show was lacking in VW's and Porsches (probably only about 20 cars there) but the weather was awesome and the facilities were top notch, could easily accomodate atleast 100 cars.

Allan brought his 914 V8 conversion on a trailer and got the engine fired up towards the end of the show. An LT1 with open headers sounds incredible

People keep complaining about the lack of VW shows in the GTA, and when someone steps up to the plate to put one on, nobody shows up .... this really pisses me off At least Bryan, Allan and I showed our support.

The drive home was interesting as buddy in his Escalade thought he'd ride right on my bumper at 140 kph on the 401. A stretch of open road later and buddy was a speck in the rear view mirror About 20 minutes later, buddy rides my bumper again ...

Bryan,

I hope you made it home OK.

Sandeep

Heya Sandeep,

I made it home fine, aside from the messyness of an oil leak, the new engine runs great. The leak shouldnt be a problem much longer, I think I got the problem figured out.

I feel terrible for not being able to attend, and support Mark. The car was done and ready. I finished up the rear sway bar early Saturday morn before heading out, hoping i could take off late to Mark's on Sunday. The show was all i could think of at work, this really nice weekend. Was looking forward to it all summer. Alot of guys i work with got squeezed this weekend.

Pete,

No problem ..

All,

Lets have a meet for the 30th then ... where do you want to meet ? Perhaps another location rather than Oakville if only a few of us are going to be there.

I need to chat about EFI fuel systems ... I've got my manifolds almost complete, just need to build my surge tank, mock up the turbo and wire in the Megasquirt/EDIS

30th sounds good. How about in the plaza at Mississauga Rd and 401. Its on the way to work for me as i am on the graveyard shift, close to you Sandeep, and just north of Pete (Btljus).

I think there's a Boston Pizza in there......

pete,

it helped, but diddnt solve my problem, i am going to try another soloution.
I am going to put my oil cooler on the pressure side instead of the scavenge side to improve scavenge flow
