Thanks for the reply folks. This dimension of 21.5" for the length of driveshaft. Are you including the rear shaft that sits through the ali arm plus the hub, or are you just taking the measurement form cv to cv?
I know the cv to cv length comes no where near the 21.5" for a standard 924/944 driveshaft. Hence a little confused to where you get this measurement. Once again thanks for the info. Cheers VEEMAN |

17" is for the 85.5 and earlier half shafts (including the early alloy arms), and 21.5" is for the later 944/951. I really recommend you do your homework before you start buying parts, cause there are several different setups. Superman has a excellent tech article and this very subject, and the search function will take you to several threads about this subject.

Thanks for the info Supa Ninja. By you last comments it sounds like I've got the correct bits. I'm using early pre 86 ali trailing arms ect. Looking through the forumn I took it that the only difference in the rear setups (earlier to later) was the rear hub carriers for the wheels discs, as the ali arms are near enough identical. The later setup had wider hub carriers. Although I could be totally wrong.
