type 4 oilcooler

is it possible to have a remote oil cooler?? if so how is it done? i live in az and am putting a turboed type 4 in, and know im gonna need something to help keep it cool. any other inormaiton on how to keep a type 4 cool with the stock fan shroudwould be greatly appreciated

I like the idea of using the RX7 external oil cooler as it has an internal thermostat, does any one know of other coolers that have the same setup.

certainly you can use an external cooler on a Type 4. using an external therm is not a big deal. just put it in the flow. check out the tech articles section and there are two articles that discuss cooling. may not have all of the answers for you, but will have some. they are called "Cool it" and "Cool it another way". the latter is an RX7 cooler install.

i run an internal (relocated due to DTM shroud) and an external (Setrab) with a CB Performance 180 degree therm.
