If this isn't the most pityful sight! Had to put my shop wheels on while I tried to sell the Gemballas... One thing that's cool though, I can leave nice long black marks through first and second .

I think it looks pretty mean. One of my fantasies is to have a set of 17's or 18's made up that has the same look as stock wide fives, nice deep dish.

They do have that stripped down, all serious look to them. I also think the sand buggy wide five version of the traditional truck white spokes look really cool on a street car, and you can get those pretty wide.

btw, how did you go from Porsche pattern back to the VW wide 5 pattern?

Thick steel adapter plates. I bought them early on when I was building cuz I knew it would take a while to get my Porsche wheels and I had to have a way to move it around... kept them after it was done so I would have some shop wheels just for an occasion such as this.
