But we can dream

i don't know of anyone else making them. airkewld carries some c/f and tried to cut a deal with carrying Joe's stuff some time ago, but they didn't handle the situation very well (i had a run in with them due to unauthorized use of some of Joe's content). that said, with enough interest thrown their way, maybe they can fill the void.

i didn't look over those links real well, but the trick with the stone guards is wrapping the lip of the fender.

laz, they may be protecting some of my fender, but that trip to FL got me some dings all the way up the fender (due to width). so don't expect stone guards will cure it. they will make it better though.

i had considered, but never pursued using similar material as used on the 930. that rough adhesive-backed black stuff. i don't see why that wouldn't work and i imagine there are quite a few materials like that out there.

zen i think that stuff is like grip tape on a skateboard. i see a little of the old sk8 rat coming back out in me.is that what youre talking about. i have also seen some c/f guards at the remmele site that cover almost the whole front of the fender , but they had no listing for them in the parts section. by the way i got a chip or two on the way there as well how does that happen. zen where did you say you got the stuff for your e-brake handle.

similar on the grip tape. sk8 tape would be a little more gritty like sandpaper than what is used on a 930, but same idea.

i don't believe Remmele makes stone guards. their cars that appear to have them are just c/f fenders with that section left clear as Oasis was describing. cool look, but won't help you much in protecting the fenders.
